The mission of Bala Gymnastics is to encourage participation and pursuit of excellence in all aspects of rhythmic gymnastics.
Our gymnastics school welcomes young girls of all ages to explore the magical world of rhythmic gymnastics.
In addition to instructional and beginners classes we offer special hours for our competitive rhythmic team.
Recreational classes and competitive team annual memberships are offered based on the age group and skill levels of the gymnasts.
Coach Valeriya Neikova will select the members of the competitive gymnastics team each season.

Head coach and founder of
Bala Gymnastics school
is Valeriya Neikova, a former Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast and experienced coach who currently teaches and manages our school. Valeriya helped many competitive gymnasts earn awards at state, regional, national and international competition events over the last twenty years.
In 2023 our school helped advance one of our rhythmic athletes to the highest level in the sport. Our gymnast Blayzen Carroll is a current National Team member representing for the Irish National Team and she is currently working as an assistant head coach at Bala Gymnastics and Valeriya.

2026 Season
Our Rhythmic gymnastics coaches are all certified USAG professional members. Balagymnastics school is an USAG accredited club organization.
Coaches and instructors at Bala gymnastics are all recognized national and international RG, USAG and AGG members and judges.
Coaches:
Valeriya Neikova Shopa, Anna Ivanova, Blayzen Carroll and Michelle Kriner, will train and help with selection of our new competitive team members each season.
